So I'm currently working on setting up mySQL tables to migrate all these old posts, as well as future posts to a blogspot-esque backbone. It's been so lon since I've done anything with mySQL, so I've had to pretty much re-read the entire manual for mySQL datatypes, etc. Lots of fun.

Two 250GB HDDS plus two 1.5TB HDDs equals 3.5 terabytes of storage.
Should hold for another year or two. Need to add some hard drive fans to make sure this thing stays cool. Even in the blistering Vancouver summer.

WE NEED THE PHP/SQL CROSSOVER, NOW. REDUCE SERVER LOAD. ALSO GUI PROGRAMMING IS A LOOK-INTO. AI is oddly fun for the time being. All we're doing is playing games. Believe it or not, this is actually running with minimal load. Using jarro's system of structure from project freedom's page, I've managed to split up the content sections. With this, I'm hoping to soon implement an archive system that'll be efficient and allow the viewings of one post per page, to avoid cluttering on lower resolutions. That is, if you're working on 1024x768, maybe it's time to upgrade, amigos.

Hopefully with the coming of some downtime I'll be able to upgrade the server to a proper version of MYSQL with PhpMyAdmin. SQLite is really messing with my mind. SQLiteManager doesn't exactly help. Neither does Eric. That's right, Eric. You suck. Also, I just noticed, but it's been exactly a month and 2 days since the first post. Hurrah, ftp-michael! Only a couple more milli to go!

Oh my god this is like the first post. So for those of you know who have never known of this site, don't worry. I didn't know either. UNTIL I MADE EET now if you're complaining that the text is too small, THEN SCREW YOU YOU HAVE TINY EYES OH KAY. Anyways, what is this site all about? Well personally it has no real meaning. But what does? Since we're all rather whiny existentialists, I think we all make our own meanings in things. So what does this site really mean to me? It's a testament of my inner-blogging-attention-whore, who needs to feel like he is somehow loved by posting on a blog that no one reads. But it's my personal gratification to FEEL GOOOOODD .
Quite honestly, this site is just going to serve as a personal blog and update for my own personal life and things I'm trying out. I think most importantly it's for me to practice my HTML/PHP. I think the plan is for me to eventually create some sort of dynamic page with php and a proper comment system. You're probably asking yourself : why not use wordpress? Well, why use wordpress if I could challenge myself to create something myself? EXACTLY.
Anyways, I still have a whole bunch of sections to add, so I'll leave it at this until another day.
